Before & After: Long Hair

Hair Type: “I have very long, very curly, thick hair. I’ve previously only had my hair straightened professionally in-salon with a traditional straightener which took 1.5 hours.”

Hair type: “I have shoulder-length naturally very thick hair, with an inconsistent curl pattern (mixture of tight curls and waves). My hair is also very dry and coarse so I often find heat styling leaves my hair feeling unhealthy.”

“The Steampod for me was very easy to use, and the wide plates allowed me to cut down the amount of time I had to spend straightening. I got compliments on how much shinier my hair looked after using this straightener, compared to my usual iron. Most importantly, I found that my hair stayed straighter for longer and my hair was much less frizzy on the second or third day than it would have been otherwise. How Steampod Works:
The Steampod is different to your average straightener. Why? The plates of the Steampod are designed to seal the hair cuticle to straighten the hair, while the built-in comb spreads hair evenly along the plates for easy and effective styling (and less hair breakage!)

Still confused by how it actually works? Continuous steam pressure opens the hair cuticle to retain natural moisture levels, while also protecting the hair from heat damage. Adjustable heat settings range from 140-210°C to suit all hair types and textures.
