Drawing on master candle maker Craig Schweighoffer's Hungarian immigrant family's past and the rich, centuries old history of Hungarian perfumery and candle making, Ecoya is founded on the idea of creating home fragrance and body care products using only natural bases and the finest fragrance and essential oils.

Ecoya is based in Botany Bay which is both the birthplace of Australia and the refuge where Schweighoffer's grandfather brought his family after escaping from Hungary, soon after World War II.
